Description
Deutsch: Der Leipziger Löwenbrunnen befindet sich unmittelbar gegenüber dem Haupteingang der Mädlerpassage auf den Naschmarkt. Während der Brunnen erst im 1918 aufgestellt wurden ist, stammen die beiden Löwen und die Pumpenschwengel bereits aus den Jahren um 1820. Sie wurden von den Berliner Bildhauer Johann Gottfried Schadow gestaltet und in Lauchhammer gegossen.
