MICROBURIN
Description
English: Flint microburin, pentagon in plan, plano-concave in profile and triangular in section. There is a medial ridge longitudinally on the dorsal face. The point of the microburin is damaged on the ventral face. The flint has red patches possibly due to being heated. The flint is grey colour with red patches and cream brown cortex.

Bond (2004) illustrates a similar example on page 62, Fig. 5.43, No. 3, which is dated to the Mesolithic.
