| Description | A tamping machine on the connecting track at 1826 m ü.M./5991 ft ASL, in the east of the new station towards Oberalp Pass. This machine is used in the evening, when the last track ballast is brought in. Bringing these machines to this height over steep cogwheel tracks is not so easy. In the last <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/kecko/37867731702/">Video</a> about the old station can be seen at the end, that there are additional belts on the couplers of the oncoming work train.
