Deutsch: Perlmuttstern mit Relief mit der Hl. Familie

Künstler und Werkstatt unbekannt Betlehem / Westjordanland, um 1980 „Das Evangelium in den Wohnungen der Völker. Ökumenische und kulturvergleichende Sammlung Gertrud Weinhold“

Das aus Bethlehem stammende Reliefs nimmt Bezug auf den silbernen Stern, der in der Geburtsgrotte den mutmaßlichen Geburtstort Jesus Mokiert, dort allerdings mit doppelter Zackenanzahl. Die Geburtskirche in Bethlehem ist auch Ziel von Wallfahrerin, die sich vom Besuch einen Sündenablass versprechen. Der Stern, sei er als Wallfahrtsandeken oder Souvenir gekauft, erinnert an diesen besonderen Ort.
