Description
Deutsch: Glöcklerkappe

Herstellerunbekannt Region Traunsee/Österreich, u 1970 Das Evangelium in den Wohnungen der Völker.

Ökumenische und kulturvergleichende Sammlung Gertrud Weinhold. Am Traunsee läuten Glöckler mit bedeuteten Kappen die Nacht zum 6. Januar ein. Mit Glocken und Peitschen versehen, laufen diese weiß verkleideten Gestalten gruppenweise durch den Ort und von Hof zu Hof, wo sie bestimmte, glücksringende Figuren laufen. Ihre sternförmigen Glöcklerkappen sind aufwändige Unikate, häufig haben sie fünf oder sieben Zacken.
