Description
English: U.S. Navy divers assigned to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit 2, Company 2-5, prepare to conduct training with the MK 16 MOD 1 underwater breathing apparatus. The MK 16 MOD 1 is a re-breathable underwater system that minimizes surface bubbles during operations. Company 2-5 is assigned to Commander, Task Group 56.1, which provides mine counter-measure, explosive ordnance disposal, salvage-diving, counter-terrorism, and force protection for the U.S. 5th Fleet.
