Description The MAD gear is adjusted by U.S. Navy Aviation Machinist’s Mate Daryl Grove while flying patrol in in a Grummann S-2D Tracker of Anti-Submarine Squadron 37 (VS-37) "Sawbucks" during ASW exercises. VS-37 was assigned to Carrier Anti-Submarine Air Group 57 (CVSG-57) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Hornet (CVS-12). VS-37 flew the S-2D from 1962 to 1966.
