English: M6 At "The Ski Jump" A most unusual arrangement exists at the point where the original M6 meets the new M6 (Toll). Part of a sharply-graded construction access was recycled to form lane 3 of the M6 northbound carriageway, meeting the line of the toll road a few hundred yards before the original carriageway. Presumably the theory was to spread the potential conflicting moves over a greater area. |
