Description
English: M5 crossing Titford Pool - Titford Canal The Titford Pools were built in 1773-4 as a reservoir feeding the Birmingham Canal. The feeder was later widened into a canal in 1837 by the construction of the six flight Titford Locks. At 511ft this is the highest level on the Birmingham Canal Navigations.
