| Description |
American WW2 era Medium tank. This Sherman has an interesting recent history. It was rescued from use a target on Salisbury Plain and joined the Cobbaton Combat Collection in North Devon. It was then used as a prop in the Brad Pitt movie 'Fury'. The turret was removed and replaced with a plastic replica, which was then blown off during filming to represent the internal ammunition exploding. If you see the sequence of the film, it is the third vehicle in a column of four tanks. It has now been reunited with its original turret and has moved to Russia. Overall, it looks to be complete and in good condition and is on display at the Vadim Zadorozhny Technical Museum, Arkhangelskoye, Moscow Oblast, Russia. 26th August 2017 |
