English: M1 at Leicester Forest East Services Leicester Forest East is one of the older service areas on the UK's motorway network, with public areas much closer to the carriageway than is now accepted in planning work. The M1's traffic is even closer than intended nowadays as the southbound "hard shoulder" has been sacrificed to provide an additional, fourth lane on the approach to the main Leicester and M69 exit. |
