Description	English: SOUTH VIETNAM. 1970-01. ARMOURED VEHICLES TAKING PART IN THE BIGGEST AUSTRALIAN ARMOURED OPERATION SINCE WORLD WAR 2 PAUSE DURING OPERATION MATILDA. COMPRISING EIGHT CENTURION TANKS, THIRTY ARMOURED PERSONNEL CARRIERS, PLUS LOAD AND REPAIR VEHICLES, MATILDA FORCE SWEPT THROUGH THREE PROVINCES IN A 150 MILE SEARCH FOR THE VIET CONG. INFANTRY SUPPORT FOR THE ELEVEN DAY OPERATION WAS SUPPLIED BY B COMPANY OF 6RAR /NZ (ANZAC) (THE ANZAC BATTALION COMPRISING 6TH BATTALION, THE ROYAL AUSTRALIAN REGIMENT AND A COMPONENT FROM THE 1ST BATTALION, ROYAL NEW ZEALAND INFANTRY REGIMENT).
