Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A M101's photo (or Pinwheel Galaxy) that I did in three different photo sessions that allowed me to integrate a series of shots in order to get a total integration of 1h and 30minutes appropriately calibrated. It's a spiral galaxy about 24 million light years away from us. It is not a perfect spiral, in fact you can notice an asymmetric "arm" caused by an interaction with another galaxy that has deformed the conformation. In the lower right you can notice a small circle that is the dwarf galaxy NGC5474. Nikon d5100, SkyWatcher 150/750 PDS and eq5. Calibration with bias and dark.
