Español: Como todas las Nebulosas Planetarias, es el resultado de una explosión estelar tipo Supernova que se está expandiendo y disolviendo en el medio interestelar hasta que desaparezca o sea inobservable en unos 2000 o 4000 años.
Su tamaño aparente es muy pequeño 1,4 x 1,0 minuto de arco y el real es de casi un año luz, está situada a unos 2.300 años luz de nosotros, sus gases brillan al ser ionizados por la estrella Enana Blanca de su centro que son los restos de la estrella original que explotó. Esta foto es el resultado de apilar y procesar 54 tomas independientes de 300 segundos de exposición cada una lo que representa un tiempo acumulado de cuatro horas y media. He utilizado una Cámara Canon DSLR 550D Modificada para Astrofoto y Refrigerada acoplada a un telescopio RC (Ritchey Chretien) de 6" - f/9.English: Like all Planetary Nebulae, it is the result of a Supernova-like stellar explosion that is expanding and dissolving in the interstellar medium until it disappears or is unobservable in about 2,000 or 4,000 years.
Its apparent size is very small 1.4 x 1.0 minute of arc and the real one is almost one light year, it is located about 2,300 light years from us, its gases shine when ionized by the White Dwarf star at its center which are the remains of the original star that exploded. This photo is the result of stacking and processing 54 independent shots of 300 seconds of exposure each one, which represents an accumulated time of four and a half hours. I have used a Refrigerated Astrophoto Modified Canon DSLR 550D Camera attached to a 6 "- f / 9 Ritchey Chretien RC Telescope. |
