Description
English: Münster, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. A "Wasserbär" (literally "water bear") south of the street "Kastellstraße". It was a dam and floodgate for the regulation of the water level in the defense moats of the medieval town.
Deutsch: Münster (Westfalen), der "Wasserbär" südlich der Kastellstraße. Es handelt sich um eine Staumauer mit Schleuse zur Regulierung des Wasserstandes in den Wehrgräben der Altstadt.
