Description
English: Müller-Lyer illusion - Franz Bretano. Optical illusion in which the orientation of arrowheads makes one line segment look longer than another. In the above figure, the line segments on the left and right are of equal length in both cases.
Français : Illusion de Müller-Lyer - Franz Bretano. Illusion d'optique dans laquelle l'orientation des pointes de flèche fait paraître un segment de ligne plus long qu'un autre. Dans la figure ci-dessus, les segments de droite à gauche et à droite sont de longueur égale dans les deux cas.
