Description
Français : Météorite Valera, tombée en 1972 au Venezuela. Composée de chondrite ordinaire (L5).

Natural History Museum de Londres, au Royaume-Uni. Cette météorite est tombée sur une vache, ce qui lui a valu le surnom de "boucher du Venezuela". La vache a été tuée sur le coup. Son propriétaire a pris le temps de faire authentifier la cause de la mort par un médecin.

Exposée à Paris à l'occasion de l'exposition "Météorites", dans le bâtiment de la grande galerie de l'Evolution, au Muséum national d'histoire naturelle de Paris (18 octobre 2017 - 10 juin 2018).
