Alphonse de Lamartine né à Mâcon le 21 octobre 1790 et mort à Paris le 28 février 1869. Alphonse de Lamartine passe une enfance heureuse au contact de la nature dans une famille de petite noblesse sans grande fortune à Milly près de Mâcon. Il passe à Mâcon ses années d’enfance. A partir de 1805, les Lamartine habitent l’hôtel d’Ozenay, 15 rue Lamartine (baptisée ainsi en 1842, de son vivant !). Le poète vit là jusqu’à 1820. Plus tard, il sera conseiller municipal, général et député de Mâcon. La maison de Milly, à quatorze kilomètres de Mâcon, a été construite au début du 18ème siècle par un ancêtre de la famille. Il y réside, en alternance avec Mâcon, jusqu’à son mariage.
Alphonse de Lamartine spent a happy childhood in contact with nature in a family of minor nobility of no great fortune to Milly near Macon. It passes Macon's childhood years. From 1805, the Lamartine inhabit the hotel Ozenay, 15 Lamartine Street (named in 1842, during his lifetime!). The poet lived there until 1820. Later, it will be Councillor, General and Member of Macon. Milly's house, fourteen miles from Macon, was built in the early 18th century by an ancestor of the family. There is, alternating with Macon, until her marriage. |
