| Description |
English: Lyscombe Bottom near Higher Melcombe 2. This view from Lyscombe Hill is looking east across the head of Lyscombe Bottom. See 466403. Beyond Bowdens, the hill on the other side of the valley, and in the next grid square, is the manor house and farm of Higher Melcombe. This was a medieval settlement, as was Bingham's Melcombe further east. The white feature to the left of the buildings is not a lake, but poly tunnels or sheeting. |
