Notes María Olga Lyon Arrieta (1872-1922) fue esposa del millonario Arturo Cousiño (hijo del empresario y politico chileno del siglo XIX Luis Cousiño y de Isidora Goyenechea, también multimillonaria empresaria) y a la muerte de este tuvo que encargarse de los negocios del que fuera su marido. Residió intermitentemente en el Palacio Cousiño, pues pasaba temporadas enteras en Europa donde era común verla entre los asistentes a las corridas de toros, las fiestas de caridad, bailes y banquetes, de la alta burguesía y nobleza del viejo mundo. Fue retratada por el famoso pintor Philip de Laszlo y era reconocida por su extravagante nivel de vida.
