| Description |
English: Lymington Pier Station Served by shuttle trains from Brockenhurst, the station is just a few yards walk from the jetty for the Yarmouth Isle of Weight ferry service. The train is formed of one of the two slam-door units retained specifically for use on the Lymington branch where the ban on slam-door stock could be circumvented because it is a self-contained line. A very sensible option given the very high cost of the new units used on the main line. |
