Description
English: Ancient Lykaion. Remains of the hippodrome and stadium (instead of the Lykaion games). There was a sacred grove and the sanctuary of Pan. See Pausanias VIII, 2 and VIII, 37.
Čeština: Antický Lykaion. Zbytky hippodromu a stadionu (místo Lykaijských her). V okolí byl posvátný háj a svatyně Panova.

"Na Lykaiu je svatyně Panova a kolem ní háj, hippodrom a před ním stadion. Zde se za starodávna konaly závody Lykajských. Však jsou tu také podstavce soch, ale sochy tu už nejsou." (Pausaniás VIII, 37)

"Lykáón, syn Pelasgův, vynalezl ještě něco důmyslnějšího než jeho otec... Dia pojmenoval Lykajský (Lykaios) a založil Lykajské hry." (Pausaniás VIII, 2)
