Description

A common find during night-walks in dry forests of Western Madagascar, these tiny diurnal geckos can often be found resting on the tips of small twigs, presumably as a protection against predators.

This picture is a good example of the quality of the Coolpix P6000 for night macrophotography. The image is best seen at a maximum enlargement.
