English: Lych gate blessed and dedicated, Welland The Reverend Frances Wookey conducted the blessing and dedication of the Marlbank Lychgate.
She recited Psalm 121 : "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills.." and concludes with the most apt verse: "The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore." Mary Roberts of the Friends of Welland, who had the structure erected, then presented it to the Parish Council Chair, Roger Cousins. |
