| Description | Lych gate of St Leonard's Church, Sandridge, Hertfordshire, photographed during sunset! The lych gate and walls are a <a href="http://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-163896-lych-gate-to-st-leonard-s-church-includi" rel="nofollow">Grade II Listed Building</a>, and the church itself is a <a href="http://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-163895-church-of-st-leonard-sandridge-hertfords" rel="nofollow">Grade II* Listed Building</a>. Built in the 1880s, the lych gate was made a war memorial circa 1919. The inscription on the beam reads "Through the Grave and Gate of Death we pass to our joyful Resurrection".
