Description
English: This antique Filipino sword (bottom) is believed to have originated from Luzon.

The bolo is originally from a US museum that unloaded pieces via an auction house.

The blade has a very shiny appearance and lamination pattern can be seen. The round ferrule is made of iron. The hilt is made of softwood that has dried and cracked over time.

Overall length: 475 mm (18.7 inches); Blade length: 296 mm (11.7 inches); Maximum blade thickness: 9 mm (3/8 inch)
