| Description |
The former inn „Gasthaus zur Krone“, once and today. Built in 1730. The date is engraved in the sandstone above the archway. The forecourt was only created when the big tree was cut down in the early 1960s. Before there was just a sloping meadow to the road. As a restaurant it was in operation until 1976. The historical photo is from a calendar which was printed for the year 2008 in a rehabilitation center in the area. As source for the photo there is quoted Max Müller from Thal. The same photo was already sent as a postcard in March 1906. So it will have been taken around 1900. After 290 years, the house is still in good condition and apartments are rented out. The gravel forecourt is bare with no greenery and used as a parking lot. Three more tall fir trees from the 1950s were removed when the road was renovated in 2012/13.
