Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Middle-rank Burial. Royal Zhou Chariot Pits, Luoyang

These objects - bronzes, stone chimes, and ceramics - from a middle-rank burial are displayed much as they would have been arranged in the gravesite. Such objects were given from lord to vassal for economic and prestige maintenance under the feudal system. This burial was located elsewhere, not at the chariot pit.
