Summary
[edit]DescriptionLung - Interstitial emphysema (50613371558).jpg |
Interstitial emphysema in an adult male with pulmonary fibrosis. The presence of air in tissue evokes a giant cell reaction that may also be seen in colitis cystica profunda and reactive eosinophilic pleuritis associated with pneumothorax. This should not be mistaken for a granulomatous disease. Images contributed by Drs. Tom Colby and Kevin Leslie - @LungPathGuys |
