Summary
[edit]DescriptionLune above Halton weir 6167.JPG |
English: The River Lune flows 47 miles (71 km) from Ravenstonedale in Cumbria to the Irish sea at Plover Scar near Lancaster. It becomes tidal at Skerton weir. The river level between Lower Halton Weir and Forge Bank Weir (also known as Forge Weir) Halton-on-Lune is kept deliberately low to make it suitable for kayak slaloms. |
