English: Lunch at Longstone Although there are noisy tourboats that go out to the Farnes, wildlife viewing is easier, less crowded (and cheaper) if you paddle out in a sea kayak. Here, a Swaledale Outdoor Club party pause for lunch in the shelter of Longstone lighthouse. Beware that there are strong tidal flows around the Farnes and this is not a trip for novice sea kayakers. |
