Summary
[edit]DescriptionLumbutts Methodist Church - geograph.org.uk - 94330.jpg |
English: Lumbutts Methodist Church. First built in 1837 by a faction expelled from Mankinholes Methodist Church, and rebuilt c.1860-70. Quite a striking appearance, with its tall window in a steeply pitched gable, and the churchyard is unusually large for a non-conformist chapel. The chapel is at first floor level, presumably with a Sunday schoolroom below. |
