English: Lumbini is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the Rupandehi District of Nepal. It is the place where, according to Buddhist tradition, Queen Mayadevi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautam in 623 BCE. The photo shows the Maya Devi Temple and most ancient Ashoka Pillar. नेपाली: भगवान गौतम बुद्धको जन्मस्थल लुम्बिनीको माया देवी मन्दिर र सँगै रहेको अशोक स्थम्भ ।
