Description
Deutsch: Ansichtskarte Nummer "28" von Hemmer von 1906; zu sehen ist die Englische Kapelle , heute als Nikolaikapelle das älteste (teil-)erhaltene Gebäude der Stadt Hannover. Sie wurde bis zum Ersten Weltkrieg von der englischen Gemeinde in Hannover als Gotteshaus genutzt. Am Bildrand links ist schwach das Hölty-Denkmal zu erkennen, parallel zu den Straßenbahn-Gleisen entlang der (heutigen) Straße Goseriede fährt eines offenes Automobil. An die Kapelle angebaut ist das Tor der ehemaligen Denkmal-Halle. Im Jahr 2011 führte die Goseriede noch direkt über das Gelände der ehemaligen Kapelle und des Friedhofs.
