Summary

[edit]

The Ludington beach house, located at Ludington State Park in Michigan. Built in 1933 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), part of Roosevelt's New Deal. Originally the beach house was used as a dance hall on the main floor, and underneath was a bath house. While the bath house is still used today, the main floor is now a cafe and gift shop.
