Description
English: A Swedish document from 1375, documenting the selling of a rent by a woman named Lucia.
Svenska: Lucia kungör att hon med sin sons, sina barns och andra arvingars samtycke till skälig man Peter Tomasson har sålt 8 spanns avgäld i Äleby i Gistads socken i Skärkinds härad, vilket var hennes morgongåva, för 12 mark penningar, varvid 6 mark gäller för 1 lödig, samt erkänner sig till fullo ha uppburit köpeskillingen. Affären uppgjordes på tinget enligt lagens stadganden. Skulle godset avhändas Peter Tomasson eller hans arvingar, skall utfärdaren ersätta honom med annat likvärdigt gods. Fastar var Inge Kanik, Arvid i Blistad, Olof i Blistad, Ander(s) i Höga, Magnus i Uggeltorp, Ingjald i Brånnestad, Holm i Markeby, Håkan Petersson, Gunnar i Halleby, Godsven i Skyllinge, Ingevald Olofsson och Olof i Spolstad. Brevet beseglas av Sigge Birgersson, Verneke i Hännebjörke och Ernvast (Ernilsson i Hestad), som gav fasta på häradshövdingens vägnar.
