Deutsch: Dieser Hirschkäfer wurde auf dem Weg Pertuis-du-Sault, zwischen dem botanischen Garten und dem Dürrenmatt-Zentrum, im Ermitage-Tal in den Höhen von Neuenburg, gegen 11 Uhr Ende Juni 2023, gesichtet. Arbeiter waren damit beschäftigt, die Ränder des Weges zu mähen (mit der Motorsense) und zu schneiden (mit der Heckenschere), was möglicherweise dieses Tier verscheucht hat, das über uns hinweg flog, bevor es sich an einem Strauchblatt festklammerte.
English: This Stag Beetle was encountered on the Pertuis-du-Sault path, between the botanical garden and the Dürrenmatt Centre, in the Ermitage valley in the heights of Neuchâtel, around 11 a.m. at the end of June 2023. Workers were busy mowing (with a string trimmer) and trimming (with hedge trimmers) the edges of the path, which may have scared off this animal that flew over us before clinging to a shrub leaf.
Français : Ce Lucane Cerf-Volant a été rencontré sur le chemin du Pertuis-du-Sault, entre le jardin botanique et le Centre Dürrenmatt, dans le vallon de l'Ermitage dans les hauts de Neuchâtel, vers 11 heures fin juin 2023. Des employés s'activaient à faucher (au fil) et tailler (taille-haies) les abords du chemin, ce qui a peut-être fait fuir cet animal qui a volé au-dessus de nous avant de s'agripper à une feuille d'arbuste.
