XXIII Festival Nacional de Folclore de Cartagena, en La Palma (Murcia) - 11 de Julio de 2015 Tomado de Wikipedia: es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luar_na_Lubre Luar na Lubre es un grupo gallego de música folk, nacido en 1986 en la ciudad de La Coruña y encuadrado en la corriente que ha dado en llamarse "música celta". Luar significa en gallego "resplandor de la luna"; lubre puede traducirse como "bosque sagrado donde los druidas celtas hacían sus rituales" Entre los instrumentos que el grupo emplea se encuentran la gaita gallega, la gaita midi, el acordeón diatónico, el violín, flautas y whistles, la guitarra acústica, ocasionalmente la eléctrica, el bouzouki, la pandereta o el bodhrán. Su vocalista es, desde finales de 2011, la coruñesa Paula Rey Torreiro. La música de Luar na Lubre se basa fundamentalmente en el folklore de Galicia, aunque está también muy influída por la de las regiones consideradas de tradición "celta" (Irlanda, Escocia, Bretaña) en línea con la corriente celtista de muchos grupos folk gallegos. Esta actitud posee defensores y detractores: los primeros aplauden la gran internacionalización que la música de Galicia ha logrado con ello y defienden además que Galicia posee lazos históricos, geográficos o de solidaridad lingüístico-cultural con esas otras regiones del Atlántico europeo; los segundos critican que lo "celta" sustituye el carácter de la música tradicional gallega por una estética de inspiración irlandesa y escocesa, bastante diferente, propiciando fuera de Galicia la identificación errónea de dicha fusión desvirtuada con un estilo de folk más genuinamente gallego (como podría ser el de Milladoiro o Fuxan os Ventos). |
