Arbury, commander of the 608th Tank Destroyer Battalion, discusses the "price tag" of an M10A1 Tank Destroyer with a civilian at a war bond rally in Franklin, Indiana (No. 168 F). The tank destroyer cost $92,000, which did not include the other weapons carried on the machine (from "Camp Crier" newspaper, August 20, 1943, p. 2).
