English: Lower Lock, Llangynidr This is the bottom lock of the Llangynidr flight just above bridge 132. Note the British Waterways notice on the lock gate; unnecessarily emptying locks and leaving the bottom gates open would be considered a breach of boating etiquette - and a waste of water - elsewhere on the canal network, but it is a requirement here due to the design of the lock walls. |
