| Description |
English: Lower Hey Green , Waters Lane This building was originally built to house the carts and horses for the old corn mill at Hey Green which was just across the road,with living quarters at each end for the Oastler and grooms,then in 1879 the estate was purchased by Jos Crowther mill owner who turned it into a private residence probably using the building for his carriages and horses and later no doubt his Napier 30hp that he acquired. |
