Description
English: Low Fell railway station (site), Tyne & Wear
Opened in 1868 by the North Eastern Railway on the line from Newcastle to Durham, this station closed to passengers in 1952. View south east towards Lamesley and Durham. At its largest, the station had four platforms, with the main building being next to the track furthest from the camera. No trace apparently remains.
