Summary

[edit]
Description
Eesti: Pildil on Hek293 rakuliini ehk inimese embrüonaalse neeru rakuliini kolm rakku, mis on üksteisega valguliste ühendustega seotud. See pilt on jäädvustatud minu bakalaureusetöö eksperimentaalset osa teostades, milleks mul oli vaja erinevaid rakuproove hemotsütomeetriga mikroskoobi abil loendada. Sirgjooned pildil pärinevadki hemotsütomeetrist.

Antud pilt on tehtud TÜ Molekulaar- ja Rakubioloogia Instituudi mikroskoobiga Nikon Eclipse TS100 ja kasutatud on 40-kordset suurendust.

Teadlased on enda uurimisteemasse väga kiidnunud. Selle pildi ja pealkirjaga väljendan teadlase ja teaduse vahelist armastust, mis on kahepoolne. Sellel jäädvustatud hetkel näitas teadus endapoolset armastust ja austust.
English: On that picture, three Hek293 (human embryonic kidney) cells are compound to each other via protein juctions. That photo was taken during the experimental part of my bachelor thesis, which included cell counting with hemocytometer. Straight lines derive from hemocytometer.

This photo is 40x enlarged and captured by Nikon Eclipse TS100 microscope which locate at the Institute of Molecular and Cell biology of University of Tartu.

Scientists are very keen on their research topic. By this picture and title I am expressing double-sided love between scientist and science. At that moment, science expressed it's love.
