[edit]DescriptionLouisiana Wetlands Study (18746047878).jpg |
English: Using three airborne instruments, NASA completed an intensive study of Louisiana's coastal wetlands and levees to aid federal and local agencies. The study looked at the level of ground subsidence (the gradual sinking of areas of land), which affects the integrity of roads, buildings and levees, as well as vegetation changes in wetlands, which both protect heavily populated areas and are home to a delicate ecosystem. go.nasa.gov/1BkjqW2 #EarthRightNow
