English: Stained glass window in the east aisle by Michael Healy (1873–1941), depicting Anthony of Padua. This work was created in the An Túr Gloine workshop in Dublin. The dates vary widely. The biography by David Caron Michael Healy 1873–1941, the booklet St. Brendan's Cathedral, Loughrea give 1907, Nicola Gordon Bowe 1908, Thomas MacGreevy considers this window to be older than the neighboring St. John window from 1927, and C. P. Curran dates this to 1929. The earlier dates are, however, more likely as this window does not exhibit Healy's aciding technique which appeared first in a limited way in a window of 1911 and developed its full potential in his 1923 Judith window in Bridge-a-Crin, Co. Louth, and which is to be seen in Healy's neighboring work depicting St. John the Evangelist from 1927.
