English: Loughinisland Lake near Downpatrick
See 376771. Loughinisland Lake lies, in two squares, to the north, east and south of the old churches. Much of the lake is fringed with reeds and is stocked with rainbow and brown trout. This is the view (entirely in this square) of the northern part of the lake looking towards the Loughinisland-Annacloy road. The cries of a water rail could be heard coming (approximately) from the south east. |
