Summary
[edit]DescriptionLough an Bhric Mhoir - geograph.org.uk - 1429024.jpg |
English: Lough an Bhric Mhoir One of many shallow lakes that occupy low-lying hollows in the gently-undulating landscape. The granite bedrock has been weathered and eroded by glaciers flowing out of the higher parts of Connemara, and the lakes are a legacy of that period. This one is situated at 12m above datum, but others are at sea level and filled by salt water on spring tides. |
