| Description |
English: Lough Coumeenoughter The gridline between Q4705 and Q4805 runs through the middle of the lake and then along the right side of the far lake which is Lough Gal, so this view would suffice for either square. The water level in Lough Coumeenoughter is at 226 metres above sea level. Does anyone else notice a curious optical illusion whereby the surface of the lake appears to be above the level of the surrounding land? The lake is at the bottom of a glacial cwm. |
