Summary

[edit]
Description On September 9, the Office of Aviation Safety teamed up with the Safety Advocacy Division and Training Office to provide a seminar to general aviation pilots in Long Island, New York, on lessons learned from accidents caused by loss of control in flight in the New York/Tri-state region. Member Earl Weener, pictured fourth from the left, kicked off the event. “Prevent Loss of Control in Flight in General Aviation” is on NTSB’s Most Wanted List of transportation safety improvements. Also on hand for the event were two rising future pilots, who visited with Member Weener.
