Afrikaans: Die Caño Hondo-rivier (Río Caño Hondo beteken "diep tuitrivier"), 'n sytak van Río Jibales in Los Haitises- Nasionale Park. Die rivier mond uit in San Lorenzo-baai (Bahía de San Lorenzo), 'n deel van Samanabaai in die Dominikaanse Republiek. Samanabaai word bewaar deur die Santuario de Ballenas Jorobadas, 'n reservaat vir boggelrugwalvisse.
English: Caño Hondo (meaning "deep spout") River in Los Haitises National Park, situated on San Lorenzo Bay, which is connected to Samana Bay in the Dominican Republic. Samana Bay is protected by the Santuario de Ballenas Jorobadas, or "humpback whale sanctuary".
